Opening weekend has arrived and it looks like we timed it well again this year. The forecast for Saturday shows 60+ degrees and sunny. We have a lot of reservations for our first day, so Freefall University will be busy right off the bat. The PAC is here and ready to fly!

Doors open at 9:30am on Saturday and we are planning a few presentations around 11:00am. If we are busy jumping, we may push things back a bit. Come out and spend the day with us and enjoy lunch on CSC. Don't forget that Festi arrived this week, so if you need a repack, bring your gear.

This past weekend we began our "packing floor expansion project". Special thanks to the 40+ people who helped out. This is a very difficult time for us, but after seeing the support we're getting from everyone, we know that nothing can stop CSC. We were forced to demolish everything inside the hangars and we will be removing the cafe within the next 10 days. We did everything in our power to try to stop this, but without support of the airport owners, our hands were tied.

Things at CSC will be a bit chaotic for the next couple of weeks while we re-design our layout and develop new ways to work with what we have. Please excuse the mess and understand that we are doing everything we can to make sure this does not interfere with your skydiving experience. Our promise to you is that our customer service will be as good, if not better than ever. On top of that, we still have the best fleet of aircraft in skydiving!

For the next couple of weeks, we will be operating exclusively from the north hangar. The south hangar is going to be storage until we get things sorted out.

Don't forget this is your last chance to take advantage of a buy-in at the prices outlined below. Buy-in rates increase this weekend. Don't forget that university students get 50% off the buy-in rate. In other words, for college students to take advantage of the $1,000 buy-in category will only cost them an initial investment of $500.00.

CSC Rhythm hosted a tunnel camp this past weekend at Paraclete SkyVenture in North Carolina. Below is a camp recap from JaNette Lefkowitz:

We had a great time at the tunnel. 11 people joined us for the camp, and we flew over 14 hours, starting at 6am each morning and going until 10pm Saturday night. We worked on solo skills, did some 4-way, and a few did some freeflying. By the end everyone was tired and a bit sore, but smiling, and excited to get back into the air. We are already thinking about plans for the next camp. Thanks to Eric for taking so many great pictures. Check out the photos.

Also, we're getting a lot of interest in our Team-For-A-Day event. This event will pair up people with one or two of us to do a day of 4-way training with us, training like we train. We'll plan the dives ahead of time, prep, creep, debrief and repeat dives. Rhythm will take care of the planning and manifesting. The only cost is your own slot and pack, and optionally a portion of the video cost. We're half full for April 26/27 weekend. Participants can sign up for one or both days. Anyone who's interested can reserve a spot by emailing us all@cscrhythm.com.

Tom and Dan are down in Mexico working on the Otter again this week. After having the problem with the left engine 2 weeks ago, we decided to replace the same part on the right engine before it caused any expensive problems.
