After a thorough briefing, you and your instructor will take to the skies. You will climb in an aircraft up to 18,000' and freefall for up to a minute and a half on a tandem skydive! No other skydiving center offers 18,000' skydives in the Midwest United States.
Since you are in front of your skydive instructor with your own altimeter and ripcord, you will have the sensation of skydiving on your own. After you pull the ripcord the instructor offers guidance as you fly the parachute together.
A tandem skydive is a great way to "get your knees in the breeze", to experience the thrill of skydiving while under close supervision of an experienced instructor.

After your first tandem skydive experience, you can continue through the Tandem Training Program or jump over to the Solo Training Program - it's up to you! Once you attain your USPA License, you can skydive anywhere in the world for as little as $20 per skydive!

SAFETY
Chicagoland Skydiving Center is a United States Parachute Association (USPA) Group Member Parachute Center. This means that only properly rated instructors, approved methods of training, and modern, square parachutes will be used. Chicagoland Skydiving Center has trained over 100,000 first-jump students since opening in the 1960s. More than a few have completed the Solo Program and have taken up skydiving as a sport. Skydiving is inherently a dangerous activity. There is inherent danger in scuba diving, skiing, and driving as well. Given the unknown variables of man, nature, and machine there is no way to make these activities completely safe. With care, it is possible to participate in these activities with reduced risk.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Make your reservation today to hold your slot. Classes fill-up fast! You must be at least 18 years old to jump (be prepared to show ID). Weight limit is 240 lbs. The comsumption of alcoholic beverages by jumpers before skydiving is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN.
Chicagoland Skydiving Center is affiliated with the United States Parachute Association (USPA) and is sanctioned by the FAA.
Our instructors are fully licensed and have each logged thousands of jumps.
Skydive training is scheduled by appointment and will be held rain or shine.
